The calendar shows the wrong times
The calendar shows the wrong times
Why: Your calendar runs on your studio timezone, not your device clock. If you’re travelling or your computer is set to a different zone, events still display in your studio’s time.Fix: Set your studio timezone in Settings → Profile. The time gutter on the left of the week grid shows the offset you’re currently displaying (for example GMT-07), so you can confirm it’s right.
On my phone I only see a list, not the week grid
On my phone I only see a list, not the week grid
Why: The calendar is agenda-only on mobile. The week grid, the all-day strip, and drag-and-drop are designed for a larger screen.Fix: Open Harness on a desktop or laptop for the full week view. On mobile you can still browse the agenda, open events, and create one with the pencil icon. See navigate your calendar.
I edited one lesson but it changed others
I edited one lesson but it changed others
Why: The lesson repeats. When you change a repeating event, Harness asks which events to change, and All events updates the whole series.Fix: When the prompt appears, choose This event only to change just the one you’re looking at, or This and following events to change it from that point forward. See managing your calendar.
An event vanished from its time slot
An event vanished from its time slot
Why: It was unscheduled: its date and time were removed, but the event still exists with its title, students, and everything else, parked in the agenda backlog. Dragging an event onto the agenda does this.Fix: Find it in the unscheduled section of the agenda, then drag it back onto the week grid (or the all-day strip) to give it a time again. See managing your calendar.
A booking came in over my all-day event
A booking came in over my all-day event
Why: All-day events never block scheduling-link slots. An all-day “vacation” or “closed” banner is just a visual marker; it doesn’t protect that day from bookings, even with Avoid calendar conflicts turned on.Fix: To keep a day free, use a timed event covering those hours, or pause the link while you’re away. See scheduling links.

I don't see a Reschedule option
I don't see a Reschedule option
Why: Sending a reschedule link is on the Professional plan. On the free plan the Reschedule action is hidden in both the right-click menu and the event. Moving events yourself on the calendar is unaffected.Fix: Upgrade in Settings → Subscription to send reschedule links. See reschedule links. To move an event yourself, drag it on the week grid. See managing your calendar.
A student booked but the lesson isn't on my calendar yet
A student booked but the lesson isn't on my calendar yet
Why: Bookings from a scheduling link land in Pending bookings first, so you can review who booked before it becomes a lesson.Fix: Open the Scheduling panel and find the booking under Pending bookings. Confirm it if Harness matched an existing student, or Create student / Link to student if not. See scheduling links.
I can't turn an existing event into a lesson
I can't turn an existing event into a lesson
Why: The Lesson and Payment toggles lock once an event is saved, keeping attendance and charges tied to what the event actually was.Fix: Delete the event and create it again as a lesson, turning on Lesson before saving. See create an event. Once it’s a lesson, operate a lesson covers marking attendance and sending notes.
I deleted an event by mistake
I deleted an event by mistake
Why: Deleting an event removes it immediately. There is no undo.Fix: Recreate the event. If it was a repeating lesson and you only meant to remove one date, unschedule that occurrence instead of deleting next time. See managing your calendar.
