1. Finish the welcome setup

The first time you sign in, Harness walks you through a few quick steps to set up your basic information. None of this is permanent. Change any of it later under Settings.

2. Add your first student

Add your first student with the step-by-step form, or send a sign-up link and let them enter their own details. Add a student · Invite with a link

3. Set your lesson rates

Set a rate on the student directly, or create reusable named rates under Settings → Rate presets and attach them to students. A student with no rate still works, but their charges come through at zero until you set one.

4. Schedule a lesson

Put the lesson on your calendar. You can set it to repeat weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, and add a location. Create an event

5. Mark attendance

When a lesson happens, open it and mark who attended. Marking attendance creates the charge. Operate a lesson · How billing works

6. Send the first invoice

Bill the account for its charges. Pick the account, choose which charges to include, and send. Harness emails it to the account’s contacts. Send an invoice

7. Get paid online (optional)

Connect Stripe so your invoices carry a Pay link and card payments record themselves. Connect Stripe

8. Let billing run each month

Once you’re set up, Harness can draft and send invoices each month, so the cycle mostly runs itself. Run your monthly billing
